You want to take a timeout away from a team -- early in the third quarter, line up Wallace and AB to the wide side - then send Rainey in motion that way. See how fast the DC drops his clipboard.

Quote: Even by SEC standards, this guy was ridiculously fast. I actually described him to my father the exact same way at dinner. I think he is faster than Mike Wallace straight line You can not him in the ass with a handful of salt in a phone booth he is really quick He is small...He does run brave...He has been fucked up...He still plays brave. The Pouncey connection is a plus...Support system for the young man

Man, everyone on the team, coaches included, are going to stop what they're doing to watch Wallace and Rainey race in the 40.

Interesting kid. Pouncey seems to get involved in the draft process quite a bit, the connection here and also putting in a few good words for Gilbert last year. It'll be interesting to see how they work him into offensive sets, or if he just ends up being Stefan Logan 2. I'm not sure they'll have him at RB all that much, I can't see him being trusted to pick up the blitz and slow an angry LB trying to break Ben's nose again.

I hope we use him like the Redskins used Joe Washington back in the 80's. Riggins was thunder, Washington lightning. JW's speed and shiftiness demoralized tired defenses.
Another hope, not comparison, James Brooks -Chargers/Bengals - a real Steelers killer.

I didn't know anything about Rainey, but watching the highlight video posted in this thread, I can say: *He's shiftier than Parker ever was *Reads his blocks better *Has more fluid hands (those of you who complained we never used Parker as an outlet- I suggest you watch video of whenever he did catch a pass- Parker sucked at it). *May be even faster. So no- we didn't draft Willie Parker- we drafted someone better.
