they may carry 3 NT's depending on where Ta'amu is. If he's ready, Hampton could get cut. If they have to stash him on roster, 98 gets one more go-round

We could not disagree more.
Funny thing... This is the polar opposite of our normal positions

I believed in the work ethic of the player. I knew he would rehab hard...Modern medicine is awesome.
I think the Steelers do feel loyalty to players....Certain players. Casey is one of those players.
2 Championships 0 trouble.
Biggest factor to me. When is the last time the Steelers cut a player who restructured his contract. I can think of one instance ever...Simmons

I can see Hampton and McClendon sharing some snaps. I can even envision McClendon filling in at DE if needed. (Barring injury to Big snack and/or McClendon, it looks to me like Ta'Amu will have a training year.)

McClendon has position flexibility. He can shift over to DE. They aren't cutting Hampton.

I would not be surprised if McClendon and Heyward are the interior rush specialists.
Keisel and Hood will see plenty of snaps

Mendenhall should be a dancer. Salsa or something. And that's not an insult, I'm thinking back to a game where his spin move absolutely froze a defender and nearly created a black hole.
I agree that Taamu is more likely to be cut than Hampton. I personally would carry Keisel, Hood, Heyward, McClendon, Hampton and Taamu. Give McClendon snaps at DE and NT. Save the roster spot for a LB, safety, TE ie special teams guy.
