So... What makes this even funnier is that I've never met any one of the Steelerfury staff or other members... AND I only know what FC, B2B, and HN's voices sound like...

Here goes...

I got a phone call from FC. He said he and Swiss were going to the Steelers/Rats game and they had an extra ticket for me. FC tells me to meet them at his house on Polish Hill. (in the dream, we were playing at home this week). So, I pull up to FC's house and... LOL... He's cutting his grass with a riding mower, smoking a blunt, with his TT drapes over the steering wheel. LOL.

As I pull into FC's driveway, (remember, I've never met FC or know what he looks like and in my dream, this was the first time I was meeting him). I get out of my car to shake FC's hand and I was surprised at his appearance... He was about 6'4", around 250, and... Get this... He was samoan! LOL.

AND... He sounded nothing like he does on the podcast! I didn't want to ask him about it cuz I was afraid he'd kick my ass and not give me the extra ticket.

I asked where Swiss was and FC told me he was on the phone with his wife. She was yelling at Swiss to go home because the weather was bad.

I really can't remember the rest of the dream. I don't remember us going to the game or much after that. I got up this morning laughing my ass off! Just thought I'd share.

Interesting, Six....can't say I ever had a dream like this, though one of my assistants here at work (she's a Cheesehead) had a dream involving Bubba Franks.

You were close on a couple items.....replace Polish Hill with Forest Hills (where people from Swissvale move when they've made a little....and I mean little....bit of money). For example, check out the address of Mike Doyle, the Congressman from that district. Dude's originally from Swissvale (was my Gold Flashes teammate in '70 & '71), now lives in Forest HIlls.

As for me, Mrs. Swiss was on the phone to me at my brother's house in Scott Township on the eve of the '97 AFCCG, saying, "Dave....there's an animal in the house" (had three flying squirrels actually), to which I replied, "What the fuck do you want me to do." Somewhere in my archives, there's a piece entitled, "Flying Squirrels & the '97 AFCCG." Chan Fuckin' Gailey...grrr

Funny stuff, Swiss. Must have been something in the air in 97 afccg. I was finishing up my undergrad education and was living off campus. My roomate had a ferret that escaped sometime during the game... Probably during the ins and outs through the front door to race to the keg.

I was the guy who decided to get beers and take a piss during the 1997 CG and saw on the pisser TV that all of a sudden we weren't wining the game anymore. Swiss bomblasted me for leaving my seat at such a juncture.

Makes me look like such a gamer rookie.
