I'm coming to Pittsburgh this Saturday for the game against the Flames. I just had a couple questions for those more familiar with the city. This is actually my first time with my gf so I've gotta change up my usual plans.

Is it worth to it go to a restaurant in Mt Washington? Or would it be better just to visit for an hour and head back into the city for dinner?

Are there any fairly nice restaurants dowtown that turn into more of a lounge/bar later on in the night? I'm not looking to get too gibbeled because, as I said, it'll be just myself and my girlfiend (just a few drinks).

Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Seviche on Penn Ave is a cool place. Sounds like the kind of place you might like. Mt. Washington is ok. If you have never been here, at least check it out. Bring a camera. Awesome view from up there.

Depending on where you're staying and if you happen to like Thai food, there's a place in Brookline called Thai Cuisine. Awesome.

Had my mom's 90th at an Italian place on Mt. Washington in September. Pricey, but damn good. Pitt was playing UNH that day.....was able to see right inside the stadium from our restaurant table.
