Stupid idea Spanier, Schulz, and Curley still insist they are innocent. No one on the board accepts any responsibility but the paterno statue comes down.
Another terrible situation that will be addressed in piecemeal bullsit fashion.

Ah, but the legacy of the dead is never as important as the asses of the living, Gonzo...
It's the unfortunate nature of man.

It's the unfortunate nature of man. I'm gonna say you are mostly right but in this case PSU got in trouble b/c JP's legacy--after he passed--was more important than Sandusky's living victims. Of course its the same craven cowards who were protecting Joe's legacy who will pounce on that legacy like jackals when they testify in court and try to writhe away from their just desserts.

JPlikely deserves plenty of blame but watching those three in court throw others under the bus will be hard to stomach. Lackey cowards

food for thought Quote: In his radio show Saturday afternoon Rominger [Sandusky's lawyer] talked about the Freeh Report and the Paterno family's response to it. He said they're right, the report makes a lot of assumptions about what Joe Paterno knew and what he did, but it didn't have a lot of facts to back it up.
