Anyone watch this? Season 2 premiered a couple nights ago.

Great show. Great characters, great storylines, funny and meaningful at the same time.

Emmy Rossum is a Goddess.

We arched the first few episodes of season 1 but bailed in favor of other shows like Californication and that show with Matt Leblanc - just not enough TV hours to slip this one in. The wife announced a few days ago she wants to get back on the Shameless wagon, so we might be playing catch-up with season 1 over the next few weeks or so.

From what I remember, it's a very dark show with some brutal drunk and pass out scenes. I think we stopped around the time the guy friend of the daughter bought her a new washer or dryer - probably no more than a couple episodes in. I like Macy - he was great in Fargo and Sports Night and I remember him being pretty good in the few episodes we watched of Shameless.

Haven't seen it cause I don't subscribe to showtime. I do watch Justified on FX though. Anyone else ever watch it? Cop series but in the back woods somewhere. Kinda cool for network television.

Showtime is getting back on track after Dexter fell the fuck off.

Homeland is exceptional.
House of Lies looks promising.
Californication is pretty good.

Yeah, probably right if all things were equal. But we were several seasons into Cali vs. season 1 of Shameless, so it got cut. The Matt LeBlanc show was a big waste of time, though - not sure if it's coming back, but don't bother with it.
