The wife and I did a movie marathon yesterday (Sunday).
We watched:
The Avengers... amazing. First time Ive been to the movies in years. Gone... Good and nice little twist at the end This Means War... not my choice but it was alright.

Not sure if you classify it as a movie, but I finished the miniseries "The Pacific" over the weekend. Got the blu-ray disk for Christmas. Made in the tradition of "Saving Private Ryan" and "Band of Brothers." I highly recommend it.

SPR was/is one of if not the best movie EVER. Band of Brothers is hands down my mother fucking favorite and I'm jonesin to watch some. I think Thursday it's supposed to be 95 degrees and the wife is going out of town. Thursday it is!

I've got the DVD set so can watch it anytime, but when the History channel plays it, I'm always onboard. The episode of the unit in Bastogne with the medic and the Belgian nurse is one of the most poignant. Great stuff.

Pretty good movie. Unexpected and very heartwarming ending. Kind of slow in the beginning but a great payoff. 7/10 - will probably watch again sometime.

Bought it for xmas for my buddy when it came out and then kept it and got him something else. The Bastogne episode is probablly my favorite. The wife and I watched This Means War a couple days ago. Decent.
