Or pull out the "disgruntled employee with an axe to grind" response......even though the emails were during her time with the university.

Or cite it as irrelevant since it didn't involve Sandusky. Even when their last defense is that Joe Pa didn't put the program first and was all about the kids and integrity, even while letting a suspended rapo play in a bowl game.

Joe was fair in this regard..he considered both female and male sexual assault victims equally irrelevant.

This was common knowledge for me during my time at Penn State.

The Triponey stuff was reported in the Daily Collegian years ago. And there were numerous incidents while I attended school there involving football players committing crimes that were suddenly forgotten about by police (or so it seems.)

I'm talking players breaking into apartments and starting fights during parties. They even reported that the players were being punished by being made to clean up the stadium.

Joe had always done that. His football players were held to a different set or morals and rules than everyone else. And if you disagreed, he'd use his influence to run you over.

If I had a nickel for every fight I saw in state college, I'd be rich. WHO CARES ABOUT TEENAGERS FIGHTING

Theres a lot, too much, testerone when athletes get together. The big reason that fight got so much attention is because the kid whose ass got kicked had a dad that was a detective in Philly. The 2 PSU wrestlers, brothers, got pounded back about 10 years ago by some football players. Chose not to press charges or even or even talk.

Its not fucking child sexual abuse. Is there really a need to ruin any 19 year old kids life over a fistfight? When you have 50,000 kids living within 2 square miles of each other, its a good day if all you have to deal with is a couple fistfights and some minor vandalism

And yet you neglected his point about Paterno using his influence to keep his players' crimes away from the prying eyes of law enforcement and school disciplinary officials, and using his influence harm the livelihoods of those who didn't play along. Face reality dude, JoePa was just another shitbag big time football coach who used his power and influence to put his legacy and program above all else.

And yeah, breaking into apartments.......all the kids are doing it! Happens all the time!

It's called assault and battery, and it's more dangerous with 19 year olds than with 39 year olds. It's even more dangerous if the 19 year old is a 300 lb lineman and the victim is a 150 lb chemistry major. It's not surprising you would try to minimize that given how much you minimize child abuse.

Any 19 year old who knows a damn thing about fighting, even the simple act of throwing a right cross correctly, knows that fists, knees and feet are potentially lethal weapons.

Fan boy probably learned about fighting by watching old Westerns where everyone flies across the room but no one gets hurt.

One of these days a drunken football player will pull this shit with a 180 lb Royce Gracie or 210 lb Bas Rutten clone who will destroy his elbow in an arm bar or choke him to sleep. Of course if this happened at PSU, said student would be expelled even if it was clearly self defense in front of 10 witnesses, all of whom were tampered with.

do you even have any clue what your talking about? I don't think you do

Quote:
Police say the incident began when Scirrotto and his girlfriend were attacked by three men on a street. Scirrotto then called several other players. Police say, 45 minutes later, about 10 men entered the apartment and a brawl ensued.

State College Police Chief Tom King read one of the player’s statements regarding what happened inside the apartment. “There was chaos for five straight minutes, referring to inside Apartment 302. He observed there were people fighting in various parts of the apartment. He described the scene as quote, "3 to 5 minutes of total craziness,” said Chief King.

All six turned themselves into police, and then have preliminary hearings next week.

Penn State released the following statement from Head Coach Joe Paterno:

"Speaking for our football staff, we are very concerned with the accusations made today and will determine the appropriate consequence for each player's status on the team when due process has transpired. Until such time, we will have no further comment regarding the situation."

what part of "they all turned themselves into police" don't you understand?

this bullshit that you think you've uncovered something has nothing to do with the law. its about a woman (triponey) head of student affairs and head football coach disagreeing about who should determind university punishment, AFTER JOHNNY LAW does his thing

I don't know what kind of a person you are, but if you think a 3-5 minute fight between teenagers, AFTER GETTING JUMPED, is a huge deal, then sports probably aren't your thing

<<3-5 minute fight between teenagers, AFTER GETTING JUMPED, is a huge deal, then sports probably aren't your thing>>

Shows your experience with the subject. Most real fights are over in less than a minute. And if the players know how to fight, they are a big deal and people get really badly injured.

IC is also ignorant about civil law, in addition to the basics of fighting and criminal law. The afterglow of this adolescent horsing around is often a protracted lawsuit or insurance claim.

Not surprising that IC considers streetfighting by a PSU linebacker to be mere horseplay since he considers the Sandusky scandal to be a PR nuisance.
