Suprisingly, it was really super funny...not what I expected at all.
The lead hippie guy & the brother & sis in law had me rolling.

Just went to see Abe Lincoln on this shit cloud of a Sunday.
Hot garbage. Fights were cool, FX were good. But it was just...bad. It moved too quickly at the beginning & too slow at the end...I hate that.
I should've seen Prometheus. Doing that tomorrow. (Wife & kids out of town)

High Fidelity was a really good movie... until the ending, which was very rushed and unsatisfying.
He finally got the girl back (which the viewers had been lead to dislike). Two minutes later a major conflict seems to arise, but is resolved only 6 minutes after that.
Great dialogue throughout the movie, but it felt like the production studio came in and said "What the fuck? You're over 90 minutes? Wrap it up!"
Watching The Tortured (2010) now. Two parents try to get revenge for the kidnapping of their son. A normal enough storyline, except this time it's done by the company that produced the Saw series, so they have no qualms about excessive brutality.

That & I thought it'd be a full blown chick flick, but turned out super stupid...I like over the top characters though, especially if I can relate them to people I know...(the hippie guy & sister in law)
